As many of you will know, the government's plans to decentralise much of the Civil Service from Dublin met with very limited success. A few years ago, in an effort to attract Department of Agriculture workers to Portlaoise, a promotional booklet was planned and the Department asked for permission to use some of my pictures. Needless to say, I was honoured, not to mention, flattered. It's not everyday I get the chance to move a government. Since the initial contact, I've heard nothing. My career as a mover and shaker was indeed short-lived....
